Typus 17-7PH® altam fortitudinem et duritiem praebet, proprietates lassitudines excellentes, bonam corrosionem resistentiam, et minimam corruptelam in curatione caloris. Facile formatur in annealed conditione, tum ad altas vires obduratur per simplices curationes caloris ad Conditiones RH 950 et TH 1050. Magna vis conditionis CH 900 multa commoda praebet, ubi limitata ductilitas et operabilitas licita sunt. Hoc mixtura in calore tractata eximias proprietates mechanicas temperaturis usque ad 900 °F praebet (482 °C).
